openvswitch-datapath-dkms software package provides Open vSwitch datapath module source - DKMS version, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install openvswitch-datapath-dkms
openvswitch-datapath-dkms is installed in your system.
Make ensure the openvswitch-datapath-dkms package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep openvswitch-datapath-dkms *
You will get with openvswitch-datapath-dkms package name, version, architecture and description in a table
